Our OHA women were representing in the Tasmanian U21 team at the Australian Championships in Lismore, NSW. The team finished third in their round-robin pool and played WA in the Quarter Final on Sunday, but sadly went down to WA in the quarter final. After finishing winless in 2018, it’s been an impressive tournament for the girls who broke a two year drought with their 2-1 win over the ACT, with goals to our own Julia Gunn and Phillida Bridley. The women had another strong win in the national championships beating New South Wales Blue 2-1 to qualify for the 5 v 6 playoff. Well done girls! The Under 21 Women finished their tournament in the 5 v 6 classification match yesterday.
