SPEAK UP! Stay ChatTY works to promote positive mental health and prevent suicide by normalising conversations about mental health and encouraging people to seek help when they need it.
The team works hard throughout Tasmania and Australia to raise awareness about mental health and suicide, and share that it’s OK to not be OK, where to find help, and how we can help each other out in tough times.
The ‘SPEAK UP! Stay ChatTY Cup’ will be played on Saturday 25th May between our PL men’s & women’s teams & the Canterbury Hockey Club so pop the date in your diary & come out to support our teams, and promote the positive mental health message.
On Thursday the 23rd of May from 6:30pm – 7:30pm, in the Olympians Room at the THC, James from SPEAK UP! Stay ChatTY will be delivering a mental health awareness workshop for those who are interested. This is an open event for anyone that wishes to attend; players, coaches, managers, parents or friends.
