A bit of team bonding after day 1 of the Masters Memorial Cup in Launceston.

Our B-Pool women’s teams are bursting at the seams this year with many old, & some new faces coming back to join the club for its 100th year!

Over the summer break many of our B-Pool women also played in the Masters competition. Finishing 4th, the ladies unfortunately lost their semi-final to University who went on to make the GF. Next season our Masters women are hoping to recruit a few younger players, so if you’re turning 34 this year, turning 35 next year, think about putting your name down to play next season.

A group of our B-Pool ladies headed up to Launceston for the weekend at the end of February to take part in the Masters Memorial Cup. Open to anyone over 30 it’s a great weekend of hockey – albeit a little hot! It was also a great bit of pre-season work in preparation for the season proper.

It’s been a mixed start to season 2019 for our Women’s B-Pool teams with some wins, draws & losses, but with new team structures and new players joining the ranks I’m sure everyone will settle into their winning ways soon, and hopefully all our teams can get themselves on the board this week. Good luck to all our B-Pool Women’s teams on the weekend. If you want to come our & support our ladies, check out the game times below.
