With just a few days to go, teams are being finalised and rosters are coming out for our 100th Season. It has been a long off season – with Masters Women and Men competing, the Battery World Junior Academy and pre-season for A-Pool and B-Pool. We look to have unprecedented numbers in our teams this year with so many of you eager to represent the club in 2019 – we can’t wait either.
I would like to thank the clubs major sponsors – Choices Flooring, The Brunswick Hotel and Battery World Hobart for their ongoing support, and encourage all members to support these businesses throughout the year. We have an updated social calendar found on our website’s homepage for the year’s events. We hope to see as many of you as possible at these events.
Lastly, I’d like to thank the volunteers in our club. The Committees, coaches, umpires and managers. The huge amount of work that goes on behind the scenes is incredible to keep this club at the forefront of hockey in Tasmania. Without our dedicated volunteers none of this happens.
