Welcome to 2019! A happy new year to all.
This year promises to be one of the biggest years on record for our great club. We are the third oldest hockey club in Tasmania with a 100 year birthday to celebrate, and celebrate we will. Most of the planning is now complete and it’s time now to roll out our 100 year plan; it’s events, activities and initiatives and celebrations. We cannot wait to share them with you. Culminating in an end of year gala dinner that has to be seen to be believed.
We want you all to be a part of this celebration, as you, our members and families are what the club is all about. We would love to hear from you, our past players and supporters with stories, recollections, pictures and memorabilia from our years past. We would also love to reach out to former players to either come and play with us in our 100th year or simply reconnect at the gala dinner. Please contact 100years@ohahockeyclub.com
This year we also aim to increase our Well-being Committee reach across the club, and continue to give our time and effort to the club and broader hockey community. If you are able to devote even a few hours to the club please get in touch with Steph, our Club Secretary at secretary@ohahockeyclub.com. We also strive to continue our family-club culture and continue to push for innovation in our sport.
We are looking forward to celebrating with our major sponsors Choices Flooring, The Brunswick Hotel and Battery World Hobart in 2019 as well.
