The Tasmanian Under 12 teams have been playing hard at the SSA U12 Championships.

The girls started the tournament with a 1-1 draw against WA in a strong showing, with the boys following that up with their own 1-1 draw vs ACT.

On day 2 the girls continued their great start with a BIG 2-1 win over NSW but unfortunately they lost their next game 1-0 against ACT on Wednesday.

The boys lost 1-0 to WA in a good defensive game on Tuesday, after the goal was scored with only 4 minutes to go! Sadly, the boys also lost their second match of the day 5-0 to VIC.

Yesterday was a mixed bag of results with the boys losing to NSW 1-0, and the girls going down to Qld 4-0. The afternoon games then saw the girls claim victory against Vic 1-0, while the boys lost 6-0 to powerhouse Qld.

The results will all be updated at the end of each day of play here:http://www.schoolsportaustralia.edu.au/hockey/
