The Local Sporting Champions program is a national initiative designed to provide financial assistance to young sportsmen and women (12 – 18 years). The program offers up to $500 to athletes or officials for the cost associated with participating in an endorsed state, national and/or international championship (eg. travel, accommodation, uniforms or equipment).
