Hockey Opportunities for our U8 & U10 players
The ‘Stick to Hockey’ season for all U18’s & U10’s will now start in Term two. But, there is still a chance to get out & have a hit & improve your hockey skills with the ‘Get into Hockey Twilight Program’ being run by Hockey Tasmania.
It’s all about Mini Games & Big Fun!
Hockey Tasmania is offering all primary school children aged 6-12 years the opportunity to join their Get into Hockey – Twilight Roster in Term 1.
Where: Tasmanian Hockey Centre
When: Wednesdays 5-6pm
Program: 5 weeks (7-Mar – 4-Apr)
Cost: $20.00
All participants will learn the skills of hockey and play mini-sided games in the following age groups:
Mini 5s: Age 6-8yrs (1/8 field)
Super 6s: Age 8-10yrs (1/4 field)
Hockey 7s: Age 10+ yrs (1/2 field)
Hockey stick and shin pads provided for beginners. All players must wear a mouthguard. Teams are mixed and all children are encouraged to come along and have a go!
