A life membership is the highest honour the OHA Hockey Club can bestow on an individual. Also, it is a rare honour; in the clubs 100 year history there have only been 32, now 34, people ever awarded life membership.
To be awarded one is recognition of a significant, sustained and highly valued contribution to the OHA Hockey Club.

At this years Presentation Dinner two new life members were inducted into this very exclusive club.

Congratulations to Chris Sargent and Stephanie O’May, who were both awarded life membership at the OHA annual dinner on Saturday night, to become the club’s 33rd and 34th Life Members.

It was an emotional night for both our life member recipients.
OHA Life Member Nicolas Turner presented Chris with his Life Membership – a fitting choice as it was Chris who presented Nic with his life membership, while Emma Byrne was given the honour of presenting Steph with hers.

These two quiet achievers were both humbled to be bestowed with the highest honour an OHA member can receive.
You can read about some of their achievements below.

There were a number of Life Members at the Annual Dinner to welcome Chris and Steph to the club.
