The OHA Premier League Women left the supporters with big smiles on their faces, playing out a strong 3-0 win over Derwent, strengthening their hold on 2nd place, and keeping alive the chance of a minor premiership. Goals to Hannah Richards, Sarah McCambridge and Sof McLeod came as a procession through the afternoon. Sarah and Maddi Brooks controlled the midfield, and the OHA defensive team was strong and composed. Lots of good tackles denied circle entries to Derwent and ‘keeper Evie Dalton had all the answers when they did come knocking (including one tap on the helmet!). Play spanned the whole field, but somehow the OHA women made us feel that the game was always safely theirs.
