With only two games remaining for all our 1st to 5th grade teams, and one round to go in Premier League it is crunch time for all our teams! With a shortened season and changes to the final series, our teams need to finish in the top 3 to make it into finals this year. Only our Premier League teams will play the usual 3 rounds of finals this season, with all other senior teams seeing the top team progressing straight through to the Grand Final, with 2v3 playing off in the prelim final.
Most of our senior teams are sitting pretty at the top end of the ladder, with our 1st Women, 2nd Men and 5th Men in good positions to get that golden ticket straight into the GF. Our 1st Men will need to get a couple more wins under their belt to have a chance of sneaking into the top three, while our 4th Women look set to miss finals. They have continued to improve this season pushing the top two teams in very close losses over the last couple of weeks – look out for them in 2021!
Our juniors only have two more games to go before the top two teams play of in the Junior Grand Finals. Our U18 Women, U15 Boys and U13 Div1 Boys all currently sit on top the ladder, and will be hoping to make it a Green sweep on Grand Final Night.
