This week marks the mid way point of the season for all our 1st – 5th grade teams, and the conclusion of Round 1 for our PL teams.
So, where do all our OHA teams sit, and when is game time this week!
Premier League Women
Our Women are sitting pretty at the top of the ladder, and this week should see them make it 6 in a row as they take on bottom placed Canterbury. It could be another goal feast for our girls, so head on out Saturday afternoon to see who will score a hat trick this week!
PL Women – 4pm, THC1 v Canterbury
Premier League Men
Our Men currently sit just outside the four, only one point behind Canterbury. Let’s hope the boys can tame the lions, and get a much needed win to slip into the top four this weekend!
PL Men – 2.45pm, THC2 v Canterbury
1st Grade
Our 1st Grade Men are 3rd on the ladder, and take on Canterbury at 10.15am Saturday morning, while our 1st Grade Women, who are currently on top of the ladder, have a bye after Canterbury were unable to re-enter a team into the 1st grade season re-start.
2nd Grade
On Sunday afternoon, our 2nd Grade Men & Women both take on NWG, the Women are first up at 1pm, while our Men play at 2.15pm. The women sit in 3rd, and our men are currently on top of the ladder.
3rd Grade
Sunday will also see our 3rd grade teams in action. Our Women play at 10.30am v UniB, in a game that will determine who claims 2nd spot on the ladder, while our two men’s teams look to consolidate their positions in the four. The 3rd Grade Men Red team sit equal 4th on points, but need to increase that goal percentage to claim 4th spot as their own. They play Canterbury at 9.45am. The 3rd Grade Men Blue team are sitting on top of the ladder, and take on NWG at 12pm on Sunday.
4th Grade
It’s a top of the table clash in 4th Grade this Saturday, with our two men’s teams – the Red’s & Blue’s sitting one and two! They will face off against each other at 8.45am Saturday morning.
Our 4th Women, who have claimed their first win this season, sit in 4th spot, and take on Canterbury on Saturday afternoon at 4.30pm.
5th Grade
Our 5th Grade Men sit on top of the ladder on goal difference, so will be looking to cement top spot when they take on Canterbury at 9am Saturday morning.
Juniors
The junior season got underway this week with the first games of the 2020 season being played last Monday, and Friday. It has been a long wait for all our junior players, so it was great to see them finally out on the pitch and enjoying playing hockey once again!
