The 2018 Boys’ and Girls’ Australian Carnival has concluded on Wednesday after a cracking week of action.
The event ran from Thursday 4 October to Wednesday 10 October with 132 matches and 24 teams participating.
The U13 TAS boys finished the carnival on a high note, securing fourth spot with a 9-0 victory over NT, while our girls finished in 6th Spot.
Western Australia Storm finished top of the Boys’ standings while the New South Wales Lions topped the table in the Girls’ Division. South Australia and Queensland won the Play the Whistle awards for the Boys’ and Girls’ respectively.
The youngsters were also exposed to Australian Hockey League action during their time at the carnival, witnessing Saturday’s Tasmania-Canberra matches.
