OHA PL Men had a 6 -1 win over Diamondbacks in the late game last week, maintaining top position on the ladder, but remaining in a three-way contest for a top-two finish with two rounds to go.
Two Penalty Stokes in the first couple of minutes got OHA off to a great start, with James Thomas converting them both.

The third goal came late in the second quarter when Tom Whitton scored his first goal for the season by tapping one home from the goal-line after Oliver Smith’s shot was too hot to handle for the DiamondBacks’ ‘keeper.

Our men extended their lead in the 3rd quarter with Alex Moir deflecting in on the back post from a booming Jackson Turner circle entry.

Sam McCambridge scored their fifth in the final quarter, with Thomas setting him up with a brilliant pass from deep in his own half. Chambers added his nomination for Save of the Year with an absolutely blinding stick save from a stinging Beltz back-stick shot before Moir rounded out the match with his second goal in the final moments.
