The pics of the week this week are from the Round 13 Premier League Men’s game against Diamondbacks. It was a chance for some of our young guns to show us what they’re made of with a handful of our best players off at the U21 National Championships.
It was a game of firsts, with young Ned (‘Needles’) Paynter not only celebrating his 18th birthday, but scoring his first PL goal of the season! It was then 16-year-old Nick (‘Spandles’) Spandler ‘s turn to star, and celebrate scoring his first ever PL goal. It was great to see the whole team getting around them in celebration. Nice moments captured beautifully by the man on the spot, Ian Chambers.
