2018 Big Blue Bash – Mental Health Round
All Welcome!
This Saturday, June 30 the THC will host special guests Sarah Howells from ABC Triple J and Tasmanian Beyond Blue’s Joe Brooks to share their stories about mental health! This is a wonderful opportunity to hear Sarah and Joe’s unique and inspiring stories and raise awareness of mental health issues and the challenges it presents to us all.
All hockey members and supporters are invited to attend this free event taking place in the THC Olympians Room – 12PM to 1PM.
As a fundraiser a BBQ will be running from 10.30am on Saturday and 11am Sunday. The support of Trendy Cut Meats in New Town, Smarter Energy Solutions, Howden Bakery and of course the THC for the BBQ is appreciated.
Finally, and exciting gig featuring special guest Sarah Howells and other local DJs will be warming up the crowd from 9pm at Post Street Social, with 25% of food proceeds from Post Street being donated to Beyond Blue!!
Tickets for the evening at Post Street are available from the DiamondBacks Hockey Club – $10.
Then come and warm up with the BBQ on Sunday July 1 and watch the action between DiamondBacks Black and University 3rd Grade Men as they vie for the Beyondblue Cup at 1:00pm – THC1.
There are collection tins at the THC Bar, and wrist bands available as well.
